How it Works

The DUTCH (Dried Urine Test for Comprehensive Hormones) test measures hormone levels and metabolites using urine collected on filter paper  and saliva samples.
It provides insight into production, metabolism, and balance of key hormones — giving a more detailed picture than standard blood or saliva tests.

How We Do It

  1. You receive a test kit at home or at the clinic.
  2. Collect urine +/- saliva on special strips at specific times of the day.
  3. We ship the sample  to the lab .
  4. Once we receive the results, Dr. Anna Sepiolo will analyze them and prepare a personalized treatment plan (including lifestyle, nutrition, or BHRT if needed).

Side Effects

None. The test is completely non-invasive and safe.

Time to Full Effect

The test itself has no “effect,” but the insights from the results can lead to interventions that may show benefits within 4–12 weeks, depending on your personalized plan.

Is the DUTCH test better than blood hormone testing?

Yes — it provides more detailed insight into hormone metabolism and cortisol rhythms.

Do I need to stop my supplements or hormone therapy before testing?

Possibly. Dr. Sepiolo will guide you based on your protocol — some supplements may need to be paused.

Is the test safe to do while on birth control?

Yes, but it may affect certain hormone markers. It’s best to let us know beforehand.

Can I do the test at home?

Yes. It’s a simple at-home urine +/- saliva test with clear instructions.

Who should take this test?

Women experiencing symptoms like fatigue, PMS, menopause, fertility issues, or suspected hormonal imbalance.
