How it Works

Stool DNA analysis identifies the presence of bacteria, viruses, parasites, yeast, and evaluates markers of inflammation, absorption, and gut barrier function.

How We Do It

  1. You collect a small stool sample at home.
  2. Mail the sample to the lab with the prepaid label.
  3. Dr. Anna Sepiolo reviews your microbiome profile and crafts a gut repair plan, including antimicrobials, probiotics, and dietary strategies.

Side Effects

None from the test. Some mild detox reactions may occur during treatment.

Time to Full Effect

Most patients experience gut improvements within 4–12 weeks, depending on severity and compliance.

What makes this different from a basic stool test?

This test uses advanced DNA technology to assess not just pathogens, but also microbiome diversity, inflammation, and digestive function — giving a full picture of gut health.

Can it detect leaky gut or inflammation?

Yes. It includes markers like zonulin and calprotectin, which reflect intestinal permeability and gut inflammation.

Can I do it while on antibiotics or probiotics?

Ideally no. We recommend pausing probiotics for 2–3 days and avoiding antibiotics for at least 2 weeks before.

What symptoms does this test help with?

Bloating, constipation, IBS, food intolerances, skin issues, fatigue, and brain fog.
